My name is Darren Cover and together with my brother Tony we are privileged to be able to be associated with the Australian Cattle Dog.

We are small scale breeders (reds and blues) living in Goondiwindi on the QLD/NSW border, 350km south west of Brisbane. Goondiwindi is at the junction of 5 major highways (Cunningham, Gore, Barwon, Newell and Leichardt). The town itself is a very prosperous country town which is the commercial hub of a vast agricultural and pastoral sector which produces cotton, grain, wool, beef, lamb and pork for domestic and overseas markets, while Waggamba Shire is one of Australia’s premier primary production regions.

We have been involved with ACD’s since 1982 with our first bitch being purchased off Geoff and Barb Tucker from the ‘Greeben Kennels in Toowoomba. "Greeben Andrea" taught us so much about this wonderful breed.

It was not until 2000 that the Coomerith prefix was registered and our breeding activities began.

Coomerith pups have been sold to people all over Australia and overseas - whether it be for work, show or just a companion. Our dogs have a mixture of champion Qld, NSW and Vic bloodlines.

Here at Coomerith we strive to breed as close as possible to the breed standard - with type, temperament and working ability what we aim for. Our pups are reared in a family environment and are constantly socialised from the day their eyes are open.

Pups are sold guaranteed sound and able to work to the best of ones ability to teach them. All our breeding stock are BAER/PRA tested with stud dogs also available to outside bitches.
